RESEARCH, WRITING AND PRESENTATIONS CONCERNING
U.S. AIR FORCE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGY KNOWN AS "INFORMATION ASSET
MANAGEMENT." Working with USAF contractor to advise on applications of
IAM to automating records management desktop decisions. May 2007 to present. RESEARCH AND WRITING CONCERNING THE HISTORY OF
FEDERAL RECORDS MANAGEMENT AS IT PERTAINS TO THE PRESENT STATE OF THE FIELD. Moving from the legislative and regulatory bases of federal
records management in the twentieth century to show how the field has become badly
distorted and to explore ways in which the distortion can be rectified in the future.
September 2009 to present. CONSULTANT TO OFFICE OF CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER, ENERGY INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY. Conducting interviews and focus groups in order to assist in drafting an EIA Information Technology Strategic Plan. August 2008 to October 2009.
CONSULTANT TO RECORDS AND FILING OFFICE, FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. Advising on implementing an integrated electronic document management and records management system. Work conducted under subcontract with BNF Technologies, Inc. January 2007 to present.
CONSULTANT TO THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER, DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY. Updated and revised departmental records management policy and also revised the departmental records management manual. Also provided the same services to the department's Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. Work conducted under subcontract with Vistronix, Inc. 2006 through October 2007.
MEMBER, AIIM INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS BOARD. Member 2007 - 2010. The AIIM Standards Board approved projects and activities in AIIM's Standards Program, including recommending new initiatives.
